After graduating high school, I began volunteering as a mentor for high school students who were interested in computer science.
As a mentor I teach students about general computer science skills including object oriented design, source control, debugging / troubleshooting.
I've taught sessions on using sensors, vision, navigation, and ROS. Most of my time is spent mentoring students who are interested in robot vision.
Students testing their autonomous mode program for the 2020 season. They used PID with encoders to move, gyroscopes to turn, and vision (blob detection) to align with and move to the goal.
